Music Programmes

Music is an integral part of the school’s curriculum and caters to the students artistic development by developing skills through regular practice and performance. All children are encouraged to develop their musical talents to the fullest potential.

As part of the curriculum of our school, music enhances cultural appreciation and provides opportunities for students to develop and showcase their musical skills and talents. The specific goals of the arts programme are:

  • To use art as an integral part of learning at all levels.
  • To create cross cultural knowledge.

The music curriculum includes music theory and history, music and technology and experience with musical instruments, choral singing and dance. Throughout the school year, the music department organises concerts and recitals to demonstrate the talents and musical abilities of the students.

Students may also participate in the following music based groups:

  • Band
  • Choir
  • Junkanoo
